CLAVE
(S) The
clave is the heart beat and pulse of
Cuban music. With a folkloric group
or in a band setting the clave set's
the tempo. The bamboo clave have a beautifully
mellow tone that's easy on the ears.
The wood clave are 3/4" dia instead
of the traditional 1" dia. They have
a mellow tone and a low pitch that's
also easy on the ears.
GUA
GUA (A) Similar
to a wood block in sound but mellower.
Guagua's are made of bamboo and have
a horizontal sound slit across them.
They are mounted on a stand and played
with stix called palitos. There are
different patterns that lock in with
the clave.
BONGOS
(B)
These box's are for soloing on. The
square shape along with it's short barrel
length give a bright and punchy sound
that cut's through with fast attack
and a quick fade time. A family of 5
drums give's a whole tonal spectrum
of sound.

BASS
BOX'S BOX SEAT (K)
This small Peruvian style
bass box with its 12"
X 18" head is the
highest pitched of
the 3 bass box's.
It has high to
mid bass tones. Bright &
punchy with a quick
attack. And a built
in slap to make
this the best bass
box for soloing.
MEDIUM
BOX (L) This bigger
box has a 18" wide head
but sound like
a 22" or 24" inch kick
drum . Mid to low bass
tones makes this a
great box for any
application. Hook up a
drum pedal to your
bass box and be
blown away by the
full, rich & warm sound.
BIG
BASS BOX (M) Th granddad
of bass box's.This traditional
full size Cuban bass box spans 26" across.
It has low and sub bass tones.A big
sound that you can feel. With the presence
to get through any occasion.

BARREL
BOX'S (H, I, J)
These Cajon's are used for traditional
afro/cuban folkloric music. The barrel
style emulates the conga drum's shape
and sound. The warm tone, resonance
and sustain of each drum compliment
the other. Each drum having its own
tone and purpose. The drums communicate
with each other by using different hand
patterns that interlock into a single
melody

Solo
Box's (C, D, E, F) These
box's are for soloing on. The square
shape along with it's short barrel length
give it a brigth and punchy sound that
cut's through with fast attack and a
quick fade time. Re-quinto (C), quinto
(D), conga (E), tumba (F) y super tumba
(G), a family of five drums give's a
whole tonal spectrum of sound.

BATA
DRUMS (N) There are a family
of 3 Bata drums. The Okonkole, Itotele
& the Iya. The smallest and the highest
pitched is called the Okonkole (the
son). It is the time clock of the group.
With a high register bright and punchy.
The Itotele (the father) is the middle
drum with midrange tones. The Iya (the
mother, the Holly Ghost) is the largest
drum of the family and has the lowest
bass tone's.

Full
Size Barrel (O,P,Q) These
full size free standing cajon's are
29 1/2" tall. They are made for the
working enviroment in the studio or
live. The sound hole in the front make
for excellent microphone placement.
The warm tones, resonance and quick
attack make this a great drum for any
group. 4 sizes: 11" quinto; 11 3/4"
conga; 12 1/2" & 13 1/4" super tumba
